MY PLACE ON THE PLANET

My Place on the Planet is a documentary film, currently being edited, that explores six small towns in America. Small towns have historically been vulnerable to development delays and the problems related to keeping apace with cultural changes. Even one generation of neglect or disinterest can put a small town into a downward spiral that is difficult to overcome.

The rise of the internet has changed the possibilities for small towns in that immediate information and communication are no longer only available in large cities. Now more than ever before the citizens of small towns can control their fate. New generations of young Americans have the choice to raise families in the beauty of small towns and still participate in work that is connected to a larger world.

My Place on the Planet (MPOP) follows six very diverse towns as they work through problems and become the kind of town where future generations will thrive.
